Kehalani Village Center, a $50 million, 200,000-square-foot commercial project by developer Stanford Carr will break ground soon
The neighboring Kehalani subdivision, which has already been under way for more than a decade, is eventually planned for 2,400 homes to be completed over the next 15 years, Carr said.
The first phase of the commercial center’s construction is expected to take a year, he added.
The site is located on 20 acres off Waiale Road, next to Kuikahi Drive and just below Honoapiilani Highway. Drivers can enter from Kuikahi Drive, Kaupo Street and Waiale Road, but not from the highway.
Anchor tenants will be Foodland and Longs Drugs.
