Councilmembers Baisa, White, Victorino, and Pontanilla sided with the developer and ignored Kihei Community Association’s request not to add an additional 390 acres to the Wailea area urban growth.
The General Plan Committee also approved an addition of 3,350 units mauka of the highway in North Kihei.
