The Kihei Mega Mall Project (Pi’ilani Promenade) has returned.

This project would turn 75 acres of one of the most culturally significant areas in South Maui into a large development, mainly for commercial use. On May 18th and 19th, the state Land Use Commission (LUC) will meet to decide whether to accept the Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed project. Save the date and show up to testify!

We are waiting on more details regarding the meeting and for the Final EIS to be made public. We expect this document to be over 3,000 pages long! We will provide more information, including time and location of the meeting, as it becomes available.
