This is your chance to tell the leaders of the State House of Representatives and Maui’s delegation what YOU think.
DO YOU CARE ABOUT:
- East Maui Streams
- Commercial use of water being subject to reasonable conditions such as watershed restoration
- A reasonable fee paid into a state fund for modernization of the diversions & ditches to minimize wasted water
Then come give public input on these issues!
REAL TALK: A&B and Mahi Pono are seeking a blank check for 7 more years to continue taking East Maui water without these conditions by passing a no-compromise version of the water-theft bill (HB 1326). Several of Maui’s own state representatives have already voted to give these large corporations all they seek. They need to hear from you about why they should change their vote when the bill returns for final passage.
We hope to see you there!
